BICMD was created by Riley Williams, MD and Benedict Nwachukwu, MD MBA, two of the nation’s leading orthopedic surgeons, currently practicing at the Hospital for Special Surgery. The founders recognized the value of expert medical opinions (EMOs) and that the EMO market was led by companies providing opinions with limited to no transparency around the physician credentials.
