BICMD was created by Riley Williams, MD and Benedict Nwachukwu, MD, MBA, two of the nation’s leading orthopedic surgeons, currently practicing at the Hospital for Special Surgery. These founders recognized the value of expert medical opinions (EMOs) and that the EMO market was led by companies providing opinions with limited to no transparency around the physician credentials. BICMD set out to provide patients with access to high quality EMOs, backed by the latest academic research and delivered by members of a “Best In Class” MD specialist network.
